What does the F-16 Agricultural Monitor do?

During planting, the F-16 controls the electric motors of the planting rows, adjusting motor speeds according to the seeds per meter desired by the producer. The system also monitors seed population, operation speed, and the status of each row, issuing visual and audible alerts in case of failures or irregularities.

Does the F-16 Monitor work on any tractor?

Yes. The F-16 is an independent solution. It has its own GPS and cabling, allowing installation on tractors of any brand or year, even those without embedded technology. It is the easiest way to retrofit your planter.

Is it possible to integrate other functions into the same F-16 Monitor?

Yes. The system also allows adding, on the same screen, planting monitoring, fertilizer rate control per hectare (with electric motors in fertilizer sections), and rate control on the OptimusJet furrow sprayer, simplifying the operation and the operator's work.

Does the system come with electric motors included?

Yes. Our system is complete. It includes the electric motors, control modules (ECUs), and all necessary harnesses for installation on each row of your planter.

Is it compatible with any planter?

Yes. Our system was developed to be compatible with the vast majority of planters on the market, whether new or used. Installation is done through specific adaptation kits for each meter model (seed or fertilizer).

What is Fixed Rate and how does it work in practice?

Fixed Rate is the planting method where the same amount (population) of seeds or fertilizer is applied uniformly throughout the area.

In the traditional mechanical system, adjusting this rate is a manual and time-consuming job, requiring the exchange of sprockets, chains, and cardan shafts on the planter.

With the Fortron Electric System, this process becomes digital: the operator adjusts seeds per meter directly from the monitor, in real-time, without having to leave the cab. It is the ease of digital adjustment for uniform planting.

Does the system also control fertilizer?

Yes. In addition to seed control, the system can also control fertilizer application at a fixed rate.
